Great post and reviews!! I’m intrigued by Sunburn and will absolutely follow your suggestion to read Jesmyn Ward’s memoir first!

Huge congrats on 1k subs! Also writing this on your phone, mega impressed! I can hardly construct a text on my phone and I'm dead serious.

My husband loved The Broken Earth trilogy 😃 I can't speak to it because series overwhelm me but I love when I see others enjoying it since I picked it out for him many moons ago.

I also love to snoop at what others are reading. Last week at the lake I spotted an older woman reading White Trash: The 400-Year Untold History of Class in America and it piqued my interest!

I got to see the pre-Broadway production of Death Becomes Her in Chicago and I HIGHLY recommend going once it's in NYC this fall. One of the funniest shows I've ever seen!

As if you said maybe someday you’ll be as well read as me (eye roll but I also love it my ego is feeling stroked and well) you look GORGEOUS in that selfie btw I loooooove the hair 10/10 ❤️‍🔥

I’m most interested by your Lispector review - I’ve never read any of her but have been meaning to for forever. But I have heard similar thoughts to yours, that they are a little confusing at times? I’m unsure whether I should start with hour and a star of whether I should try elsewhere. I’ve heard good things about ‘an apprenticeship or the book of pleasures’ from Eve Matheson so I am more tempted to start there! Can’t wait for you to be back in October, happy travels my friend xoxox
