omg I have the same dilemma on reading trackers, I mostly use Goodreads (most of my friends are there) for recommendations but use StoryGraph for tracking because I love the graph and just a perfect overall app for tracking book for me. I didn't try Fable though; it's just too much tracking app for me haha.
I'm in the same boat! Goodreads is honestly just really hard to move 100% away from and I do really enjoy the social aspect of it that StoryGraph just doesn't have. I think that's on purpose though? Fable is nice so far but you're so right, it's too much tracking, and I think I need it to replace one of these rather than supplement
Obsessed with your reflection on Intermezzo and the shit show that is family - that is what resonated with me most too really. She explored it all so well and while the ending was one that many of us w siblings we don’t get on with can’t envisage, I didn’t hate it. This is also the second mouth to mouth endorsement I’ve seen today!!!! I must read xxx
yes yes I think it's interesting how different bits have resonated with different people but the family stuff cannot be missed can it? also totally agree on the ending, it felt a little too convenient in some ways but I wasn't mad about it either. and YES I would love to hear your thoughts on mouth to mouth, I think there is a lot to say that I don't know how to say but I know YOU would hehe
If you liked revenge you might like her other short collection- ‘the diving pool’… it was the first yoko ogawa I read, and I was immediately hooked.
oh excellent, thank you for the rec! the only other yoko ogawa I've read is the memory police and I haven't even heard of this one
ooh thoughts on the memory police? I have not read it yet but I feel like I'm gonna love it
Give LibraryThing a try! The web version is far superior, but the app allows me to scan and add the books I'm reading. Also, the recs are top notch.
I haven't heard of this!! I'll look it up, thank you 🫡
